Product name Wooden fire door

Product introduction

Wood fire door refers to the use of wood or wood products to make door frame, door frame, door panel, fire resistance limit to reach the "GB50045-95 high-rise civil building design fire code" provisions of the door.

Fire door is one of the facilities for fire separation of buildings, usually used in the fire wall, stairwell entrance or pipe well opening, which plays an important role in reducing fire losses.

Fire rating of wooden fire doors

In the high-rise civil building design fire code, fire doors are classified as A, B, C three levels, and the fire resistance limit is specified, Class A doors shall not be less than 1.5 hours, Class B doors shall not be less than 1 hour, Class C doors shall not be less than 0.5 hours.

Wooden fire doors are divided into two series of full board and half glass as well as single and double fan specifications.

Specification and size

The opening size and structural size of the wooden fire door should comply with the provisions of GB 5824 "Building Door and Window Opening Size Series".

Wooden fire door

Requirements for the production of wooden fire doors:

1) The door frame and the door with a thickness greater than 50mm should be connected with double tenon. When assembling the frame and fan, the mortising groove should be tightly chimed, bonded with adhesive material and tightened with adhesive wedge.

Note: In humid areas, water-resistant phenolic resin adhesive should be used for grade I, and semi-water-resistant urine aldehyde resin adhesive can be used for grade II.

2) When making plywood doors (including fiber board doors), the frame and the horizontal must be on the same plane, and the surface layer, the frame and the horizontal should be pressurized and cemented. More than two holes should be drilled in the horizontal and upper and lower heads to prevent moisture degumming or bulging.

3) The production quality of the door shall comply with the following provisions:

(1) The surface should be clean or frosted, and there should be no scratches, burrs and hammer marks.

(2) The linear shape of the frame and fan should meet the design requirements, and the cutting Angle and joint should be firm and flat.

(3) Small material and short material glued doors and plywood or fiberboard doors are not allowed to deglue. The plywood is not allowed to plough through the surface veneer and the hip.

(4) The permissible deviation of the door production shall comply with the provisions of Table 5.1-1.

4) When conditions are available, it is appropriate to assemble the door and frame in a complete set, install all the hardware, and then install it in a complete set. Under normal circumstances, the door frame should be installed first, and then the door fan.

5) After the wooden fire door is made, it should be immediately brushed with the bottom oil (drying oil) to prevent moisture deformation.

6) The installation of door hardware shall comply with the following provisions:

(1) Hardware should be fully installed, appropriate location, fixed and reliable.

(2) The upper and lower end of the hinge distance door should be 1/10 of the height of the standing stick, and avoid the upper and lower head, and the switch should be flexible after installation.

(3) All hardware should be fixed with wood screws, and nails should not be used instead. Should first hammer into 1/3 depth, and then screw in, strictly prohibited into the full depth. When hardwood is used, a hole of 2/3 depth should be drilled first, and the aperture is 0.9 times the diameter of the wood screw.

(4) It is not appropriate to install the door lock at the junction of the middle riser and the upright.

(5) The door handle should be located below the center of the door height, and the door handle should be 0.9 ~ 1.05m away from the ground.

Installation requirements

1. Wooden fire doors should be flat doors, must open flexible, and have the function of self-closing.

2. The wooden fire door used for the evacuation channel should have the function of being able to close quickly in the event of a fire, and open in the evacuation direction, and should not be locked and bolted.

3. Double or multiple wooden fire doors with subopenings must be able to be closed sequentially.

4. A sealing slot should be reserved at the cutting edge where the frame of the wooden fire door is overlapped with the door fan, and a sealing strip made of non-combustible materials should be inserted.

5. When conditions are available, it is appropriate to assemble the door and door frame in a complete set, install all the hardware, and then install it in a complete set.

6. After the wooden fire door is made, it should be immediately brushed with the bottom oil (drying oil) to prevent moisture deformation.

7. Hardware installation should be fixed with wood screws, not nails.

Fire retardant requirements for wooden fire doors

Fire regulations, such as the Code for Fire Protection in Building Design, stipulate that the firewall must use non-combustible or non-combustible materials; The "Code for Fire Protection of Interior Decoration Design of Buildings" stipulates that in addition to ordinary residential buildings, the wall decoration of all buildings must use non-combustible or non-combustible materials.

Wooden fire doors as a part of the firewall, in addition to the fire resistance limit, its own should also be refractory materials. The "General Technical Conditions for wooden fire doors" does not have any requirements for the finishing materials of doors.

The third article of the Supplementary Rules for the type approval of steel and wood fire door products stipulates that wood fire door manufacturers must be equipped with wood fire retardant treatment equipment. However, because some manufacturers say in the technical documents submitted during factory certification and type inspection certification that the wood is not flame retardant treatment, there is a recognition that the wood does not need to be flame retardant treatment when using broad-leaved trees to produce fire doors. This method does great harm to the quality supervision and fair market competition of wooden fire doors. It can be said for sure that the wood is not flame retardant treatment, and it is not protected by fireproof paint or non-combustible materials, and the fire resistance limit of the fire door is certainly not up to the requirements of the Class A fire door. According to the following: The average burning speed of wood used in the calculation of the strength of wood structures in Europe is 0.7mm/min for structural wood and 0.5mm/min for broadleaf wood for interior decoration materials. Coniferous wood 0.6mm/min (the fire surface is vertical) [8]. The burning charring speed of wood used in Japanese architectural design is 0.6mm/min[9]. The thickness of the skeleton material of the fire door is usually about 35mm, calculated at the combustion charring speed of 0.6mm/min, and it will be all burned in 60min. When the fire door is detected, it has the effect of positive pressure and bears its own weight. When the thickness of the wood is less than 10mm, the fire door will lose its integrity and insulation. The fire door made of untreated manchuria wood has a fire resistance limit of 47min. Japanese data show that when the structure and thickness of the door is the same as that of the domestic wooden fire door, the fire resistance limit of the fire door made of untreated wood meets the requirements of 0.5h, and the fire resistance limit of the fire door made of fire-resistant treatment integrated wood meets the requirements of 1.0h.
